Na de Tweede Wereldoorlog beslist Jozef om zijn zaak verder te zetten in de bloeiende wijk aan de andere kant van de stad. Hij neemt de zaak over van Frans, die daar handelde sinds 1936. Achteraan het rijhuis was er genoeg ruimte om te produceren en om alles te stockeren.
