かつて株式会社バカーは、ニコニコ動画を運営するドワンゴ社と『新世紀エヴァンゲリオン』などで知られる庵野秀明監督が率いるスタジオカラーの共同出資によって、誕生しました。……というのが弊社誕生の「公式」の歴史ですが、実際にはそれ以前から事業の歴史は始まっています。それは――ドワンゴ社内のニコニコ事業部における一案件だった頃。たった二人のスタッフで、自分たちのメディアから飛び出したヒット作品のIP展開を、自前で切り盛りするところから始まりました。その過程で、私たちは様々な先人から学んだ内容を、自分たちがクリエイターとともに生み出してきたIPに応用し、現代に合う形へチューニングを行ってきました。 IT登場以降の新しいクリエイティブと、古き良き日本のメディア産業の良いとこ取り。それが、私たちのモットーであり、スタイルでした。そこで得た様々な「戦略策定・クリエイティブ制作・現場オペレーション」の一気通貫のノウハウを、私たちは皆様に提供していきたいと思います。
