図書館のあり方を定めた｢豊岡市図書館未来プラン｣を策定しました。(平成29年2月)現図書館は、平成11年４月の移転開館以降18年が経過し、時代の変化に対応すべく、原点に立ち返り、当館が、学びの拠点としての役割や市民のニーズを踏まえた機能、さらには民間委託等の可能性も含めた運営体制を検討してきました。市民が一層親しみの持てる図書館となるよう、市民とともにさまざまな活動に取り組みます。 2016年度に策定した「豊岡市図書館未来プラン」が5年経過したため、検証と次の5年間の重点課題・取組方針を検討し改定しました。(令和3年10月)市民が一層親しみの持てる図書館となるよう、市民とともにさまざまな活動に引き続き取り組みます。
