東京団地 住居がすべて団地で構成されている計画的に設営された市街地。 生活基盤や公共施設は市街内で完結しており、建造物や道路は かなりきちんと区画整理されている。団地の天井は人工光で 昼夜が切り替わり、たまに警報が鳴ればシェルターへ避難する。 そんな東京団地へ、突然謎の生物が襲って来た。 人類を滅亡から守る後の砦として、東京団地の外にあるという 謎の学園。敵はこの学園を襲撃目標にしている。 学園を１００日間守り抜く事が特防隊員に課せられた 使命であり、存在意義である。 小高和剛(代表作：「ダンガンロンパ」シリーズ)と打越鋼太郎(代表作：「極限脱出」シリーズ)が、初タッグを組み、本作のディレクションとシナリオを手掛けることで新たに産み出された 最終防衛学園を狙って襲い来る敵を排除、守り抜く為に人類から 選抜された防衛要員。例えどんな難敵が攻め来ようとも退く事は 許されない。特防隊の全滅は、人類の滅亡を意味する。 自らを「SIREI」と名乗る謎の生物によって、異能の力「我駆力」に目覚めた拓海は、辛くも窮地を脱するが、その後「最終防衛学園」への「転校」を余儀なくされる。
