黒栁徹子記念財団は、長年にわたりわが国の芸能、映像、文化の発展に大きな足跡を残した黒栁徹子の功績を伝えるとともに、さまざまな活動を通じて地域社会に貢献し、芸術や文化の振興と次世代への継承を目的として、2018年（平成30年）12月に創設され、2024年（令和6年）9月1日に公益財団法人の認定を受けました。財団の主たる事業である「黒栁徹子ミュージアム」では、黒栁の多岐にわたる国内外のコレクションの展示、教育プログラムやワークショップなどを通じて、多くの方々に彼女の歩んできた道や思いを伝えるとともに、芸術や文化の素晴らしさを体験していただけるよう努めてまいります。また、彼女が心を寄せ、ライフワークとしてきた世界中の子どもたちへの支援も、我々の重要な事業のひとつです。当財団の活動によって、より豊かな文化が育まれ、たくさんの方々が心の豊かさを実感できる社会の実現に向けて取り組んでいきたいと考えております。
