СЭМЗ приступил к выпуску микроэлектронных аэрологических радиолокаторов «МАРЛ-А». До настоящего времени предприятие является единственным в России и странах СНГ производителем комплексов «МАРЛ-А», работающих в сети Росгидромета: на полярных станциях архипелага Земля Франца-Иосифа, космодроме Байконур, метеостанциях Камчатки и Сахалина.
