8方向レバーとショット＆キックボタン、ジャンプボタンで操作します。ジャンプボタンで地形を登っていく事ができます。地形によってはレバーを下方向に入れてジャンプボタンを押す事で降りる事もできます。ショットは包み込むタイプと吸い込むタイプの２種類あります。包み込むタイプはショットで敵を包み込んで玉にすることで玉をキックして攻撃する事ができます。また玉は乗ってジャンプすることができます。吸い込むタイプは敵を吸い込んで吐き出すことで攻撃する事ができます。ステージ内の全ての敵を倒すとステージクリアとなります。敵に触れるか、敵の攻撃、地形の特定のギミックに当たると自機を失います。再スタート時には全てのパワーアップはリセットされます。全ての自機を失うとゲームオーバーになります。全６ワールドでクリアするとエンディングになりゲームオーバーとなります。 主人公も４人に増え、その可愛いキャラクターとコミカルさは増したように感じるが、何とも言えないクールでホットな世界観は少し変わってしまったか？しかしながら、シンプルな操作性と爽快感は『スノーブラザーズ』だ！キャラクターたちとストーリーが『スノーブラザーズ2』ワ
