Shonan Beach FM

中山美穂さんがDJをやった「波の数だけ抱きしめて」という映画がありましたが、あれを実現したのが湘南ビーチFMなのです。映画では電波の規制があるために、微弱電力の中継機を湘南海岸沿いに設置してゆくという筋書きでしたが、その後郵政省（現総務省）が「コミュニティ放送」という新しい放送制度をつくったため、こちらは本格的な放送局としてスタートしました。地元の逗子・葉山の地域メディアとしてだけでなく、広く湘南地方をカバーする“お洒落な放送局”を目指しています。
