經過十多年的努力，欣欣教育基金會已擁有數以百計的志願工作者，數以千計的捐款人。捐款人中有政商界名流、著名僑領、高科技行業工程師、管理人員、律師、財經人士等。欣欣在當地僑界擁有良好聲譽和影響力，逐步得到當地主流社會的了解和認可。 “山溝裏的孩子們每天徒步幾個小時，走過崎岖的山路去上學。已經成爲危房的教室無法擋風，又漏雨，他們卻只能待在這裏我們被這些情況震動了。” 欣欣教育基金會是由美國加利福尼亞州舊金山灣區華僑創辦的非盈利慈善組織，于1997年發起，1999年10月1日在加州政府注冊成立。 我們的宗旨是：通過改造翻建舊有校舍，改善教學軟硬件環境，提供教學培訓等，幫助中國偏遠貧困地區學校，以促進城鄉教育均衡發展。
