本日は、当店の伝説ともなっている切ない恋のお話をいたしましょう。 時は元禄１５年１２月１４日。ご存知、赤穂浪士の討ち入りがございました。主君の仇討ちを果たした浪士たちは４カ所の大名屋敷にお預けとなったのですが、そのうち大石内蔵助以下１７人が預けられた細川様のお屋敷に、当店の豆富が届けられました。上野輪王寺の宮、公弁法親王様のお心遣いです。 当店は、初代玉屋忠兵衛が親王様について京都から江戸へ移ってきたという縁があり、こうしたお使いも珍しいことではなかったのですが、この時届けられた豆富には、別の思いも込められていました。実は、娘のお静が細川家お預けの赤穂浪士の一人、磯貝十郎左衛門に心を寄せていたのです。 最初の出会いは、お静が雪道で足をとられ滑りそうになったのを十郎左衛門が助けた時。そして、十郎左衛門が俳人の宝井其角に連れられて来店したことで２人は再会します。その後も十郎左衛門はたびたび来店したようですが、もちろん本当の名前も身分も明かすことはありませんでした。 赤穂浪士たちのその後は、ご承知のとおりですから、この話に楽しい続きはありません。第一、この恋が片思いだったのか、両思いだったの
