The Profil Media creative agency was founded by Jana Zielinski and Jiří Macek in 1999. The same year, it became the organizer of the Designblok festival and later also organized the Czech Grand Design Awards, the most prestigious awards for local makers and designers awarded every year by the Czech Design Academy.
