私たちライトハウスは日本国内で、子どもや若者たちが望まない労働や売買春の被害にあわない、「人身取引のない社会」の実現を目指し、活動する団体です。被害にあい心身ともに傷つけられ支配されると、誰でも外へSOSを求める事は大変困難になります。私たちは、LINEやメール、電話等、アクセスしやすい方法で支援する「相談窓口」、被害の予防や拡大防止を目指す「研修・啓発活動」、大人が子どもたちを守っていくための「政策提言」が主な活動です。 拠点を日本に展開し、まっさきにはじめたのは被害者の相談をうける窓口業務。どこにも相談できなくて困っている被害者のSOSは日本のいたるところから寄せられています。加害者に支配され、圧力をかけられながらもなんとか生き延び、そして私たちとつながることで心の拠り所を見つけています。 「ライトハウス」は英語で灯台をさします。人身取引という問題に光を照らし、「人身取引を見逃さない」、「人身取引の被害者を見捨てない」という理念のもとに、「遠くだけでなく、足元にも光をあて、暗闇の中で孤独に沈む人々の灯りとなる」という思いを込めて、団体名称にしました。 私たちの隣にいるかもしれない、
