中村家は慶長以前400年以上前より当地に住み、現当主は十八代目にあたり、文化元年（1804年）より酒造業を興して200年余、酒造りを始めて現在十代目となります。 近年の「全国新酒鑑評会」の受賞歴は平成14年、15年、17年、21年、22年、23年、24年そして、令和4年に金賞を受賞しております。
