Mississippi State University Animal Health Center
Founded by an act of the Mississippi Legislature in 1974 and with its first classes beginning during the 1977-78 school year, the CVM has been producing the world's foremost veterinary professionals for nearly 50 years. Our Starkville, Mississippi campus is more than 40 acres in size, the majority of which is housed under one roof - the Wise Center. Within the walls of our main campus are classrooms and laboratories, but also a fully functioning animal hospital.
