私たちスタッフをはじめ、構造、設備設計、各種デザイナーを始めとする心強い仲間とともに、「特化した技術者集団」であるという誇りを胸に、絶えず研鑽を重ね、新しい提案を九州から発信していこうという気概をもち、日々の業務に臨んでいる会社です。 私たちは設立当初から、建築設計をデザインとして考えるのではなく、建築主と一緒になって諸条件を検討し、専門家としての見地からアイデアを出し、満足頂くことで、地域に貢献できる施設づくりを目指してまいりました。 社名は、新大陸へ大いなる希望をもって出航したメイフラワー号と、設立月の5月に由来しています。当時、若い建築学生が青木先生という指導者の下に集い、希望に満ちた船出となりました。 私たちメイ建築研究所は、1966年5月大学での研究を実践する場として、九州大学建築学科、青木研究室の卒業生と在籍者によって設立されました。 この企業理念に基づき、数多くの経験と社員ひとりひとりの力量、個性を活かしながら、組織の責任のもとに建築に取組んでおります。
