KeyGene

KeyGene was founded in 1989 by several Dutch seed companies. Their goal was to work together to increase the efficiency of their molecular genetic research programs and to improve their crop breeding efforts. KeyGene is currently owned by four strategic shareholders active in the field of vegetable breeding: Enza Zaden, Rijk Zwaan, Limagrain Vegetable Seeds, and Takii.
