Japanese Red Cross Society Yamagata Chapter

日本赤十字社山形県支部は、全国47都道府県にある日本赤十字社の支部のひとつとして、1887年に山形委員部として誕生しました。1896年に山形支部と改称され、「人道」を理念に国際救援・開発協力、災害救護、安全講習会普及、ボランティア活動、青少年赤十字活動、国際人道法普及など、さまざまな活動を行っています。これらの活動は、県民からお寄せいただいた活動資金や寄付を財源として行われています。また、県内には血液センターがあり、同じく「人道」を理念に血液事業にかかる事業を行っています。更に、山形県内全ての地域の人々に赤十字の活動が届くよう、県内各市町村には、赤十字事業の推進を担う事務局（地区・分区）が設置されています。赤十字ボランティアをはじめとする多くの方々によって山形県支部の活動は支えられています。 赤十字事業につきましては、日頃より県民の皆様をはじめ多くの方々から温かいご支援とご協力を賜り、厚くお礼を申し上げます。 赤十字では、「人間のいのちと健康、尊厳を守る」という人道的な使命に基づき、災害救護活動、救急法の普及、赤十字奉仕団、青少年赤十字など多岐にわたる事業を展開しております。 山形県支
