奈良県支部では、「防災・減災講習」、「赤十字ボランティアや青少年赤十字の育成」、災害などで被災された方々の「救護活動」をはじめ、いざという時に役立つ「赤十字講習」や「血液事業」など、さまざまな活動を展開しています。 日本赤十字社奈良県支部は、全国47都道府県にある日本赤十字社の支部のひとつとして、1890年（明治23年）に「奈良県委員部」として誕生し、1895年（明治28年）に「奈良支部」と改称されました。 赤十字活動はすべて、皆さまお一人お一人からの「会費」や「寄付金」、そして多くのボランティアの方々によって支えられております。
