日本赤十字社は、人間のいのちと健康、尊厳を守るため、救護活動や被災者支援などの人道活動を行っています。京都府支部は、明治22年2月20日の創立以来、「人道、博愛」の精神を旨として、国内外の災害発生時の被災者の救護活動や府民の皆様のニーズに則した医療・血液・福祉などの幅広い分野において活動を展開しています。これらの活動は全て、会員の皆様からの財政面でのご協力や赤十字奉仕団をはじめとするボランティアの方々のお力添えなど、多くの皆様に支えられています。皆様の温かいご支援、ご協力を賜りますようお願いいたします。 日本赤十字社は行政機関の協力を得て、各区市町村の役所(役場)等に赤十字を担当する窓口（地区・分区）を開設しています。お近くの日赤地区・分区にお気軽にお問い合わせください。
