わが国の航空貨物業界は、スタートから約６０年間、航空貨物の特色である「スピード」と「高い輸送品質」を活かし、企業のグローバル化やITを駆使したSCM（サプライ・チェーン・マネジメント）の普及等と相まって順調な成長を遂げてまいりました。２００８年秋以降の世界経済危機の影響を受け輸送量は大きく減少し未だ厳しい状況が続いていますが、社会に対する航空貨物輸送の重要性は極めて高く、日本経済の再興とともに力強い回復を見せるものと確信しております。 また、企業が果たすべき社会的責任としてコンプライアンス経営が強く求められる時代となりましたが、当協会としても健全な活動を通して協会の一層の活性化を図るため、平成２１年に「行動憲章」を策定し、また、各部会・委員会組織を一新し透明性・公平性を高めました。 航空貨物フォワーダーの健全な発達を図るための調査研究 航空貨物の安全・保安対策 航空貨物に係る教育・訓練、IATA／FIATAディプロマ試験（代行実施） 航空貨物の通関に関する調査研究 関係官庁への要望活動 当協会は、航空貨物フォワーダーにより構成される団体で、平成３年６月１日の設立以来、航空貨物業界の発展
