Institute of Systems Science, Academy of Mathematics and Systems Science
中国科学院系统科学研究所在著名科学家关肇直、吴文俊、许国志等老一辈科学家的倡导下，由原数学研究所控制论、运筹图论、统计、基础数学等方面的科研人员，组建了中国科学院系统科学研究所，主要从事系统科学和与系统科学有关的数学及交叉学科的基础研究和应用基础研究，系统科学研究所的成立，为我国系统科学的发展起到了积极的推动作用。建所初期，成立了控制理论室、基础数学室、运筹数学室、运筹管理室、统计数学室及数学物理室六个研究室、四个职能部门。系统科学研究所主要研究领域有：控制理论、管理科学与运筹学、系统工程、组合优化与系统分析、数理经济、数学机械化、基础数学、数理统计、计算数学、应用泛函、数学物理等。
