2040年に向け生産年齢人口の大幅な減少、少子化が一層進む中で、私たち看護職には人々のいのち・暮らし・尊厳をまもり支える専門職としての更なる役割発揮がより一層強く期待されております。 茨城県では、第8次保健医療計画（2024年）を策定し、「活力があり、県民が日本一幸せな県」を基本理念とし「新しい安心安全」へのチャレンジにつながる、本県の実情に即した良質な医療を切れ目なく提供する体制の実現を目指して進めております。 また日本看護協会では、2025年6月に「看護の将来ビジョン2040」を公表し、これから看護が進むべき方向性、果たすべき役割を示しました。新ビジョンでは、その人らしさを尊重する生涯を通じた支援、専門職としての自律した判断と実践、キーパーソンとしての多職種との協働の3つを目標に挑戦していきます。いつの時代においても、いのち・暮らし・尊厳 をまもり支え、人々の身近な存在として専門職の役割を発揮していくことに変わりはありません。私たち看護職がこれらの挑戦を実現していくためにも、看護職自身のウエルビーイングが重要です。「安心安全」で持続可能な働き方を看護職が率先して改革していきましょう
