Hyo-chan

シウマイに入っているしょう油入れは、シウマイが誕生した1928年当時には、小さなガラスのビンでした。戦後に、ひょうたん型の白い磁器になりました。1955年、その白い磁器のしょう油入れに、漫画家・横山隆一先生（代表作：フクちゃん）が「目鼻をつけてあげよう」とたくさんの表情を描いてくださり、いろは48文字にちなんで48種類で誕生。横山先生自ら「ひょうちゃん」と名付けられました。 1988年、崎陽軒創業80周年を記念し、2代目ひょうちゃんが80種類の絵柄で誕生しました。イラストレーター・原田治先生（代表作：オサムグッズ）が描いてくださいました。大きさが2種、絵柄の色も4種あり、80絵柄×4色×2（大・小）＝640種類で展開されました。1996年（平成8年）には、栓がコルクから、現在も使用しているゴムに変わりました。 ひょうちゃんが60歳還暦を迎えた2015年、赤いちゃんちゃんこを着たひょうちゃんがランダムで登場。さらに、赤いちゃんちゃんこを着た金色のひょうちゃんも、大変珍しい確率で入っていました。3代目ひょうちゃんからセレクトされた、個性的な表情を見せる14種（大・小を合わせ28種）の絵柄で
