放香堂は宇治和束茶畑の開畑を行って以来、「以茶伝心」という変わらぬ理念があります。 天保年間(1830～1843)に小売を始めた際にも同じように「以茶伝心」の気持ちで取り組んだと思われます。 「丹精込めて育て上げた「茶」を相手様に喫していただく事により真心を伝える」という意味合いだと捉えて、日々の商いに精進しております。近年、「食」に対する価値観は多様化し、日本食文化にもさまざまな形態が出現してまいりました。 最近では「相手に対する真心」の発見そのものが難しさを増す時代ですが、持続的な「以茶伝心」理念を実現するため、当社は昔ながらの製法と、茶師による厳しい選定を経た「茶」を世の中に送り出し、「潤いのある社会」の実現に取り組んでいます。 全国茶審査技術十段（2015年第62回の全国茶審査技術競技大会で認定）全国茶審査技術競技大会準優勝含め5回入賞 初代・東源兵衛から代々を受け継がれる六代目・源兵衛を襲名する酢田恭行は、全国茶審査技術の最高位である十段の資格を有しています。“おいしいお茶とは何か”を求め、全国の茶畑を巡り歩いて、土づくりや肥料選び、茶樹の植え方など、栽培から収穫のタイミング
