Film Art School
映画美学校は、シネマテークの活動や各種映画祭への製作サポートを通して世界の映画を紹介してきたアテネ・フランセ文化センター（1970年創立）と、アート系映画の製作、配給、上映を行なってきたユーロスペース（1982年創立）との共同プロジェクトとして1997年に発足し、2000年4月に東京都からNPO（特定非営利活動法人）に認証されました。映画美学校は、シネマテークやミニシアター、あるいは映画祭で多様な映画を鑑賞し、独創的な表現を切り開いてきたインディペンデントな映画作家と上記の2団体のコラボレーションから生まれた映画制作のための工房であり、全くの初心者が実践的に映画づくりを学び、それを専門的に発展させることができるプロダクション機能を持った教育機関です。映画美学校には、映画制作を学ぶフィクション・コース、およびドキュメンタリー・コース、外国映画の翻訳を学ぶ映像翻訳講座、映画普及ためのマネージメントを学ぶ映像メディア・キュレーター養成講座があります。そして、2011年5月からはアクターズ・コース、脚本コース、2012年7月に批評家の育成を目的と下批評家養成ギブスが開講いたしました。いずれのコ
