DNT Finnskogen
I 1987 ble Finnskogen Turistforening stiftet, formålet med å stifte foreninga var å rydde og merke gamle ferdselsveger på Finnskogen, og å gjøre folk kjent med den skogfinske kulturarven. To år senere ble foreningen tatt opp som medlemsforening i Den Norske Turistforening med ca. 550 medlemmer. Foreningens navn ble i 2017 endret til DNT Finnskogen og Omegn. I dag har DNT Finnskogen og Omegn over 2000 medlemmer, og rundt 1200 km stier som ryddes og merkes.
