Daniel Kohn, MD was president of Maryland ACEP from 1994 to 1998. In 1997 he purchased a shirt-making company that had been founded in Baltimore in 1916. He was not satisfied with labcoats typically available in stores, so he started making coats that were more carefully designed and sewn, and he offered a variety of fabrics and styles for women and men.
