Clipper Windpower
Clipper is best known for the Liberty 2.5MW Wind Turbine, developed under a partnership with the Department of Energy’s National Renewable Energy Laboratory and manufactured at our plant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. When the first units were installed in 2007, they were the largest turbines being manufactured in the United State.
