Climate Impacts Research Centre
CIRC aims to develop, facilitate and coordinate research at Umeå University (UmU) on the effects of a changing climate in Arctic ecosystems. We will do this by providing infrastructure (offices, laboratories, field sites) that promotes high quality year-round research at UmU on climate effects in Arctic ecosystems. CIRC will initiate and coordinate cross-border innovative climate impact research at UmU that integrates terrestrial and aquatic Arctic environments.
