生态环境法典共分为总则编、污染防治编、生态保护编、绿色低碳发展编、法律责任和附则编五编。总则编规定了生态环境领域的重要原则和基础性、综合性、普遍性的法律制度，统领其他各编。污染防治编对现行相关法律中关于污染防治的规定进行系统整合、编订纂修、集成优化。生态保护编对生态系统保护的相关规定进行整合，并单设“生态修复”一章，对各级人民政府及有关部门、有关单位和个人开展生态修复活动作出规范。绿色低碳发展编聚焦与生态环境保护密切相关的绿色低碳发展重要环节、重要领域，建立健全绿色低碳发展相关法律制度。法律责任和附则编贯彻过罚相当原则，全面、严格、合理设置法律责任。 本书收录《中华人民共和国生态环境法典》与相关规定对照表等。对照表中左栏为旧法及关联法律规定，其中阴影部分为删除的内容；右栏为2026年3月12日第十四届全国人民代表大会第四次会议通过的《中华人民共和国生态环境法典》，黑体部分为增加或修改的内容。 法律法规大字学习版丛书为中国法治出版社推出的法律法规系列图书，为方便广大人民群众学习法律法规，在确保法律文本准确的基础上，本丛书以大字号、双色标注、关联标注的方式对法条内容进行了必要的编辑加工处理
