Carte Blanche ble etablert i 1989, og har base i Bergen sentrum. Studio Bergen i Nøstegaten er både produksjonslokaler og hjemmescene for kompaniet som også turnerer i Norge og i utlandet. I 2026/2027 flytter kompaniet inn i Sentralbadet Scenekunsthus sammen med Bergen Internasjonale Teater (BIT).
