Desde 22 de setembro daquele ano, a Biblioteca foi transferida para sua atual instalação, no andar térreo, em ambiente com mais de 2,8 mil metros quadrados de área e que conta, além de vasto acervo, com diversos ambientes para convivência, terminais de consulta, a gibiteca Gedeone Malagola, salas de estudo, auditório com cerca de 90 lugares, duas galerias expositivas Espaço Sônia Cintra e a Galeria Jundiaí , além de iluminação natural e a disponibilização de acesso gratuito à internet, por meio
