梅栄堂は明暦三年（1657年）に沈香屋作兵衛と称し香木輸入の中心地、ここ堺において線香、香類を専門に商ってきました。代々つたわる心を大切にいたしまして、天然香料の気品ある落ちついた香りと、それを丹念に手づくりを一筋に今日まで三百有余年を重ねております。香づくりは非常に微妙なものでございます。当社につたわる秘法を守りつづけ、本当の香りを現在にお伝えしたく精進に努めております。
