Beyond documentation, ARPO’s approach to conservation and promotion is rooted in the idea of reconnection. Drawing inspiration from the familiar cheering cry “ARPO–IRO” heard at Kerala’s regatta races—where ARPO is followed by a resounding IRO—we extend this rhythm into our practice.
