Our group also lead ARCA-1, an observational international study investigating the association between blood transfusion and postoperative outcomes after cancer surgery. More than 1,000 patients have been enrolled in the iOXYGENATE, BALANCED, POISE-2, POISE-3 and COP-AF studies at MD Anderson Cancer Center.
