特定非営利活動法人AMDA社会開発機構（アムダマインズ、AMDA-MINDS）は、岡山県に本部を構えるAMDAグループの一員です。同分野における専門性を高め、事業内容を拡充するため、母体である特定非営利活動法人アムダの海外事業本部（2002年設置）を2007年4月に別法人化しました。 紛争や著しい困窮、また行政の脆弱性などに起因して、基礎教育や保健サービスなど様々な分野において、日本では当たり前に得られる機会を享受できない人々が暮らす地域の平和（＝今日の家族の生活と明日の希望の実現）を、アジアやアフリカ、そして中南米のコミュニティが伝統として守ってきた「相互扶助」に基づいて支援、協力する基本姿勢に変わりはありません。 これまで延べ15か国の農村や都市スラムで、地域保健状況の改善や貧困削減を目的とした活動に取り組んできました。現在は、より効果的な事業運営を行い、質の高い成果を達成することができるよう、組織力の強化と専門性の向上に力を注いでいます。 社会開発に携わるNGOの能力は、異なる民族、文化、言語、宗教が多様性を織りなす社会で、特にインフラや公共サービスが整備されていない環境下で事業
