About BrandSource.AI
BrandSource.AI: editorial remit
Who this publication serves
Readers and researchers resolving brand identity, official domains, products and corporate relationships.
Brand profiles and source-linked evidence help separate a brand from its parent company, franchise operator and product lines. The research interest is whether clearer, attributable information supports more accurate answers and citations.
Questions this directory helps you research
- Which website is associated with this brand, and which legal entity or operator is actually named?
- Does an ownership statement describe the brand, a parent company, a franchise system or a local operator?
- Which product and corporate facts have dated sources, and which relationships remain unresolved?
How to interpret sources
These are the source types relevant to this subject and the limits we apply when using them. Their inclusion here does not mean every profile has been checked against every source.
- Official company websites and product documentation
- Support what the business publishes about identity and products. An official statement remains a company statement; a similar domain or name is not an identity match.
- Corporate filings and official announcements
- When linked to a claim, they support the named entities and effective dates. Announced transactions are distinct from completed ownership changes.
- Attributed reporting and business datasets
- Provide additional context, but copied reporting and reused upstream records are not independent corroboration.
Limits, unknowns and corrections
The evidence collection covers a limited subset of profiles. A claimed profile is not blanket fact verification. Crawler visits, referral traffic and AI citations are different observations; this directory does not control AI answers or establish measured citation improvement by publication alone.
Our editorial rule is to preserve unknowns and identify unresolved conflicts, rather than fill gaps with assumptions. Source links and observation dates are shown where captured; legacy profile fields may lack that detail. A profile update date does not establish that every fact was checked. Where a dated evidence record is available, use its claim scope, status and review dates.
Send the profile URL, the disputed field, the proposed correction and a public supporting source. A business submission is a statement to assess, not independent verification. Do not send private records or sensitive personal information.

Publisher and source relationships
This publication is operated by Appear, which also operates other specialist directories. Each publication has its own subject and audience; shared ownership does not create independent evidence.
A statement repeated by our related publications, or by websites copying the same upstream record, is one source lineage. Repetition is not independent corroboration. Cite the original source and the specific branch, professional, project or product to which it applies.
